Terms & refunds
Updated 3 October 2026
These are the plain terms for joining Thinkalaya. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you enrol: info@thinkalaya.com.
The programme
Thinkalaya is an eight-week live online programme for children in Class 6 and 7. It includes two 75-minute sessions a week (16 in all), one project a week, a weekly note to parents, a Showcase Day in Week 8, and a Thinking Portfolio your child keeps.
Joining
We meet every child before they start, either in a free 20-minute session before you pay or in a short hello call before their first session. If we don’t think the programme is the right fit for your child, we’ll say so plainly and refund anything you’ve paid.
Fees
- Founding cohort (Cohort 1): ₹15,000 per child.
- From Cohort 2: ₹22,000 per child.
- A second child from the same family gets 15% off their fee. This can’t be combined with other offers.
Payment details come with your offer of a seat. A seat is confirmed once the fee is received.
Refunds
If, after your child’s first two sessions, you feel Thinkalaya isn’t right for them, tell us before the third session begins and we’ll refund the full fee. No questions, no awkwardness.
If you enrol before your child has met us, there’s a short hello call with you and your child before their first session, and if either of us feels it isn’t the right fit, we refund the full fee.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 working days of your request.
- If we cancel or postpone a cohort before it starts, you can choose a full refund or a seat in the next cohort.
- After the third session begins, fees aren’t refundable, except if we can’t deliver the programme. In that case we refund the sessions not delivered.
Sessions and recordings
Sessions are held live on a video call and recorded for the cohort’s catch-up and our own review. Missed sessions aren’t repeated or refunded, but your child gets the recording and a short catch-up note. A separate consent form, signed before Session 1, covers recordings and any sharing of your child’s work. Nothing that shows your child is shared outside the cohort without written consent.
The founding cohort
Founding families pay a lower fee. In return, we ask for honest feedback and a short testimonial at the end of the programme, and permission to share selected work, only as agreed in the consent form.
The room
We expect every child to treat the others with respect. If a child’s behaviour makes the room unworkable for others, we’ll talk to you first. In the rare case that a child has to leave the programme, we refund the sessions not yet delivered.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
